How long have I been doing glass?
I began in 1978 and trained with the Nelson
Family of glassblowers in Virginia City, Nevada. I am the only
non-family member they have taught. However, we feel like family
since my maiden name is Nelson and we seem to share similar looks.

Is it glass and how hot is it?
Yes, it is glass and not plastic, Pyrex®
or Duran®. When I work with
the glass, it can reach temperatures of approximately 1,100 degrees.
Q:
Have I ever burnt myself?
Yes, only once though... that was enough to teach me respect for
the torch's flame at all times!

Do I do special requests?
Yes! I work with the client or corporation for that special or
specific item(s).

What inspired your logo?
Many people ask how I came up with my logo.
It is a simple story: I decided to go for a walk one afternoon
after a light rain. Looking down into a puddle I saw a smile looking
back at me... it was a brooch. I picked it up, laughed and knew
I would use it for my logo. People always remember a smile.
